Absolutely! I wish I was looking at this the same time I had the PX13 in-house, as I'm very curious how it compares on that curve! If I end up getting a chance to, I'll revisit.

528.92 is what I use, and it is the driver from windows update. regarding 316 vs. 313. I haven't done the legwork for testing between the 2 variants, but if you recommend 313 I may try it to see if I notice a difference. (I haven't had issues with fan or coil whine though...)

Yeah maybe it is not a problem for all devices, but I also have 32gb 4070 modell and on mine the coil whine was noticeably louder with 316 and my Laptop had a more aggressive turbo behaviour --> fans a little louder on the normal profiles (silent, balanced, turbo). And for the other drivers? do you let windows handle driver installs itself completely for chipset and so on as well? I might do a fresh windows install with win 11 LTSC and I am wondering what method i should choose to get the laptop running like a dream (newest I can find, Asus Website or Windows driver install).

While the X13 can charge at 130W, that does not mean it supports PD higher than 100W. The stock charger can deliver 130W, but it is an ASUS proprietary thing, not PD. I know the X13 does not support 140W PD either. (I have tried with a 140W PD charger) Only ASUS Proprietary Signal gets you to 130W, otherwise you're getting 100W PD or below with conventional chargers.

How can you tell? I've purchased this from other people saying to use this link because it was legitimate and the results seem to be working well, but perhaps there would be room for further gains if this really isn't genuine like you claim. Again, on what basis do you claim this is fake and do you have a link for non-fake PTM7950?

For the 8GB RAM, I think its worth it, you also get a backpack if you get the 4060 version from ASUS, so I think there is enough value to justify the extra 300.

Not sure what that sentence exactly means. but with the Surface Laptop Studio 1 you can upgrade the SSD as well. I covered that on this channel in a different video. but hope you get the new version one soon... It's worth it if you like the form factor.

If I remember right... the GPU actually is rated and capable of 90W if you look at the NVIDIA-SMI data... The performance mode sets it to 75W though (including the 10W dynamic boost. You'd have to go into manual mode to get the 90W and it just can't keep up with heat and has to throttle to 75W or less in most cases, so the fact it can actually do higher wattage for a few seconds doesn't really mean much... expect 75W maximum in real world.

It will work fine for the Studio effects... the camera and audio cancellation shenanigans and all current AI tasks... as far as the "Windows Recall" features, it probably won't do that. but that isn't released yet either.

It's not necessarily me pushing a ton of power to the iGPU, The default Turbo and Performance Profiles using iGPU will push that much power to it, for very little performance gain. The point was to demonstrate at what wattages you should be using the dGPU and what wattages you should be using the iGPU at.

Remove your nvidia drivers with ddu, then let it install the windows driver from windows update. This gave me the correct driver.

I actually REALLY want to see how that power/performance and undervolting curve looks on the Ryzen 9 AI HX 370, but I don't still have the PX13 on hand and I wish I would have done that benchmark work before I returned it.

@@cbutters no worries mate. Let's see what other laptops Asus releases in a few months. Maybe they are waiting for Intel to release Lunar Lake to put in the FLOW Z13. It will be interesting to compare Zen 5c vs Lunar Lake in ROG FLOW. Lunar Lake is supposed to be on TSMC 3nm, which may be more efficient than Strix Point on TSMC 4nm.

Yes, although you only can unlock 5w extra power on the 3050 ti models instead of 15w extra power on the 2023 ones.

I somewhat agree... I'd much rather have a mini-LED than a 60Hz OLED. However; OLED can be lighter, thinner and double-stacked for brightness, less burn-in risk every year as well. In the future I think everything will be oled, but yeah I'd rather have a Mini-LED than a subpar oled any day.

@@cbutters well lets be honest: Apple always uses the best stuff in their laptops. As long as the MB PRO has mini LED, its pretty obvious what the best screen is. As far as burn-in risk...I know LG TVs have some pixel shift technology so that they dont tire the same pixels...but I dont know about laptops. Thats why they keep them dim and you can barely find an OLED with more than 400 nits. I myself have a FlowX16 and supper happy with the extra brightness, black is deep enough, HDR1000 is gorgeous, and I can barely notice blooming in everyday use.

By your logic..... Apple's newest and most modern device the iPad pro 2024 uses the "Ultra Retina XDR display features state-of-the-art tandem OLED technology". I'm not trying to say miniled isn't good, or you're not having a great experience with your display; I'm just saying OLED seems to be the where the industry is headed and I believe it has the best quality and characteristics.

@@cbutters Tablets are a diffent beast. They have to be thin and light...wich oled is and mini-LED is not. While laptop sits on a table or on your lap, tablets must be held in your hand. Apple know what they are doing
